Prospective Members
 

If you have a bachelor or advanced degree(s) from an accredited four-year college or university, membership is obtained through a graduate chapter. An active graduate chapter will extend an authorized and written membership letter of invitation upon approval of the official Membership Experience to prospective members.  Please read the Anti-Hazing policies for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.

Reactivation

Eta Nu Omega Chater welcomes members wishing to return to our sisterhood.  Those interested in reactivating can access reactivation information on Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.'s Reactivation Page.  The Membership Chairmen are available to assist in the reactivation process and provide official documentation.  Chapter dues vary depending on individual membership status.  ​

Transferring Members

 

Eta Nu Omega welcomes members wishing to transfer from undergraduate and graduate chapters.  The Membership Chairmen are available to assist in the transfer process and provide official documentation.  To complete the transfer process, members can request to transfer on Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.'s Reactivation Page in the Transfer Verification section.  Please indicate that you would like to transfer to Eta Nu Omega Chapter when completing the transfer documentation.

 

Visiting Members

Monthly Chapter Meetings:

​

Eta Nu Omega welcomes visiting members to our monthly chapter meetings and community service events.  The chapter meets on the first Saturday of each month, except in July and August.  Chapter Meetings are exclusively open to members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., while community service events are open to the public.

Requirements for members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. to attend a Chapter Meeting:

In accordance with the National Standards Operating Guidelines and Eta Nu Omega Chapter Protocol, all visiting members must have a photo ID for verification (Driver's License, Military ID, or State ID Card) and one of the following:

 

- An issue of the Ivy Leaf magazine with their membership number listed in the address field (photos or scanned copies of the Ivy Leaf are not valid)

- Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. financial card

- Original membership certificate (photos copies are not valid)

- A receipt from a Cluster, Regional Conference, or International Conference (Boule) that contains your name

If you cannot locate any of the listed items, please contact the Membership Chairmen to obtain information regarding how to attend Chapter Meeting.
